Direction of arrival estimation based on slope fitting of wideband array signal in fractional Fourier transform domain

Traditional direction of arrival (DOA) estimation methods wideband linear frequency modulated (LFM) signal based on the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) highly depend peak value LFM in FRFT domain. However, can be affected by various factors, such as a low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), small number snapshots, or large incident angle signals, which lead to decrease DOA accuracy. To tackle this problem, energy-concentrated property domain, is accomplished adopting approach slope fitting for array domain study. The method uses correspondence between position and delay received different uniform elements. least square threshold outlier detection used fitting. Compared conventional methods, study has high accuracy relatively complexity case SNR without relying value. effectiveness verified theoretical analysis Monte-Carlo simulations. proposed provides new path signal.
